WHAT!!!!! you are upset because your wife wants to sing with the chior director???? This is so much nonsense, this is why you men create friction around the house that leads to seperation and divorce over little things like this. If you had said "My wife is sleeping with the choir director" then there would be an issue. Your wife is going where she feels comfortable, there is nothein that says a wife and a husband must go to the same "church". If your wife did not love you she would have left you. Your mother is a very negative person and I truly thinks what she meant is I dont love your wife. Mother tend to do that. You can go and visist your wife new church sometimes but love her and be true to her dont throw away your marriage because she has gone to sing at another church. It really isnt worth the fuss you are making.

Excuse me?? Your wife left her church to follow a choir director who went to another church?? After 20 years of marriage?? Clearly, you've got ample reason to question her dedication both to her religion and to you.

Sounds like there's more to the story than told here, but I'm thinking the basic scenario is that you are having marraige troubles and your wife found an easy way out by attaching herself to someone else . . . it won't last if that's true.

So are you getting divorced over this or are you just bitching because she went to sing at another church? This is why you don't go to church! Even if mom says so!

well it doesn't sound like she cares much anymore after 20 years.. either that or she knows things are that good between you two that she feels it won't make you mad or upset you if she went and sang somewhere else.. i wouldn't say she doesn't love you anymore, i would just say things got really comfortable with you two and she feels she should go after things she wants now, before it's to late, she knows that you'll always be there.. good luck and best wishes!

You have been married over 20 years and you still care about what your "MOM" says over your wife!
You BOTH are screwed up!

I think she loves you, but I think she loves the choir director more. (Ouch....I know that hurt to hear)
I think you should express to her how that makes you feel and tell her it is extremely inappropriate, if that's how you feel. Then remind her of her vows. I also think you should consult your pastor for additional advice.
