i have, loads of times....like once for instance i went snorkeling on the greek islands and i didnt look up....... when i did i was like a mile from shore.... i tried to get back but the current was against me i was swimming but gettin no where......... scary damn moment, praise be to fishing boats!

I was in Central America riding a local bus down the highlands. the buses they use down there are old school buses donated by the US. These engines are not checked and not well cared for. Our bus had very little brakes and the pilot started a race with another bus going in the same direction as him. at some point, i don't know who started what but each co-pilot began arguing and the other bus side ended ours. our co-pilot took a machete out and here we go going down some , breakneck, mountain, mad max style. I did not think we were going to get to our final destination. but we finally got to our destination. both buses stopped. our copilots jumped out and finished the competition with machetes.

Yes, I had heatstroke and didn't realise it until I tried to get up from where I'd been snoozing on the beach, my head felt as if it was in a vice, I saw zigzags in front of my eyes, my heart was thumping and I staggered through the sand to the exit only to find there was a great flight of steps to climb before I could get off the beach. I still don't know how I found the strength to get to safety because I really and truly thought I was going to die. Needless to say I've never been on a beach since that time, even when I lived for eight years in a hot country with a beautiful coasline.

I was very very ill a couple of years ago, and it was touch or go if i would make it, so yes I have thought that before. It was the most frightening time of my life, and I felt so powerless. I hope I never have to feel that scared again!

Yup. When I was in about grade 6 or so, on my parent's property (major hills, major woods.). I was sledding on one of these hills with my cousin who's younger then me. We ran into a tree! I don't remember if there was anyone else around. My cousin was fine. I don't know how, but I got myself back to the house. Major injury, but I did it.

as in near-death experiences? yea, i had a few...most of them were personal, but one time this gang i know of came up to me in da mall...but i handled it. also, one time i was locked in a car trunk...please, dont ask...and i couldnt get out. i was kickin, yellin, i got cuts on my arms from tryna get out...it was so dark in there n i couldnt see what i was doin. i finally decided that i need to conserve the air i got in there, and to quit screamin...so i said a lil mantra (prayer), and i punched open the back of the back seat...it was one of them cars where u can open the backseat for more trunk space...i got out and i was fine, with just a bunch a lil cuts all ova.
but as far as in being late for something? hell yea! all da time i always be like "SH!T, i aint gonna make it!" especially when eitha i missed the bus, or im waitin on the bus cuz its late...
i need to drive!
