Sex=Babies no matter what time of the month it is. Some women get pregnant during their periods, right before, right after, in the middle etc.... That is why it is encouraged to use contraceptives and you get on bc. And yes sperm can survive that long. Since I am guessing you dont know when you are ovulating, best bet is to not have sex or use condoms.

yes it is true. remember me? the one who asked should i have baby 5? well your a fool to have unprotected sex, not just pregnancy but std's too. oh well, its ok because your probably on welfare. so me and the rest of the tax payers will bring up your child and give it what it needs. not nice being accused of something is it.
the only way that you will tell is by waiting for your next period that is due. im being nice here people considering what she wrote in reply to my question it wont wait for an egg, but sometimes you dont actuallyu lose an egg when you have your period. if you are worried then providing you have had sex less than 2 days ago, the morning after pill may still help just to be sure

Yes, the sperm can live for 3-5 days and the egg lives for 24 hours once released.

It's three to five days maximum, and you can get pregnant anytime. As long as your cm is thick, and slippery enough for the sperm to be able to swim and you have an egg released, normally this happens a week before your period is due, but sometimes 2 weeks (depends when on you cycle, and if you are regular ect ect), but you should never ever rely on this method, and USE contraception.
Being pregnant as this time you did it, would be very very minimal, but that doesn't mean that you can takes risks.

of course it' true! why didn't u use condom? who made uthink that it would be ok? even if u don't care about getting pregnant, u should care about your health! i'm not saying that sth with u or your boyfriend could be wrong, but sth could go wrong and get infected by the most simple and common bacteria and cause u illness... it's ALL about our health! i don't now if u know bu there r chances thatu could get pregnant during your period too! see how complicated things can get? did u try the next day's pill?
