Sorry people...but youre freakin stupid..the clothing line is named AFTER a man's name who probably started the company. i think if its traditional for the fathers culture then its cool. the names im thinking of for my child are all traditional names of latin origin and i would hate that because there was say, a mexican restaraunt or something like that with the name of my child they would make fun of them...Rediculous. Anyways, I think Max is cute for short.

Mossimo is a good strong name. Plus when he gets older girls are gonna love it. it will be fine since he has an Italian heritage. kids in school might give him a hard time at first, but when they get used to him he'll be fine. And, I think the Target brand is Wassimo not Mossimo. I think it's a cool name.

I am not a fan. Like previous posters have mentioned, Mossimo is a brand of women's clothing at Target. I am not sure how many people would actually pick up on that, if used. But, maybe you would consider using Mossimo as a middle name?

Another reason why I am not so thrilled about the name, is because of the potential nickname of Moss.

Mossimo is an upscale American apparel company. Have you ever heard of a child named Nike? How about Armani or Versace? I guess if you think those are cool names, go for it. You would be able to get personalized clothes for your little guy without paying extra!

Mossimo is a brand of clothes at Target. I wouldn't name my son that.

I think you mean Maximo "Max" not Mossimo. It reminds me of the Mossimo clothing.

If you are going for unusual then yes. I think the name is odd, but that is your choice. I have a friend who is naming their baby Achilles.....I think it's odd too but they like it. Mossimo just reminds me of the clothing line.
