YES! Mine hurt so bad. I remember this feeling from the last pregnancy, too. It feels like my abs are so sore, like you said, from doing 10000 crunches. It feels like this constant pulling and stretching.
I guess it's ok. I asked my doctor about it and she didn't really have anything to say. But, I have heard two different things (that I read online.) One is that it's "normal" for your ab muscles to separate during pregnancy as your belly grows. That would explain the pain. The other one is that there is a condition called "diastasys recti" and that one kind of scares me.

I found during the first few weeks of my pregnancies that the smallest activity used to make my abs sore. Even now with my current pregnant (38 weeks with my second preg) I get really sore from my stomach when I clean house.

Don't worry, the pain/cramps is just from your uterus stretching to make room for your baby to grow. As long as there's no bleeding/spotting involve then everything should be fine. If you're still concern I suggest you call your OB

well, if you are well defined before pregnancy, it could be your abs tearing as they stretch to make room for baby. I wouldn't worry about it too much, but I'm sure it's not too comfortable :)

i have not been pregnant before, but my mum told me its very normal, as the baby is at the beginning stage of developing in your womb.
if u think u're really feeling terrible bout the pain, see your doctor.
=) Congrats by the way^^

That's so funny! That was one of my symptoms. Of course, I didn't know it was a symptom then, but looking back, I know it was now.
