Not to be mean but we realize that you a cold.. most girls a fragile and can be hurt easily.. Giving us your jacket will show that your a gentlemen and it shows other guys that we are yours and to back off.. When you give us your jacket to wear we are more comfortable and it will help your reputation with her parents. Because, if she goes home and her parents ask how the time with you was and she says it would have been better if she hadn't been freezing the entire night chances are her parents might not be to happy or she might not want to go out with you while the weather is similar.

Tony, my good man. With that sort of approach you may end up being cold for a loong, loong time. It is a sign of decency for a gentleman to give a jacket or coat to a lady who is in distress from cold weather. You won't die, sir and she may regain some of her lost faith in humanity. Help her out - no harm done (except a few extra shivers for you).

It's gentlemanly. That poor girl that goes out with you. She's probably got all dressed up and you are too selfish to even give her your jacket for a while! She's freezing, for you! Honestly what has happened to tradition! =P

I guess that it's kinda polite. Some girls are just stupid and think that if you don't offer them your jacket then you don't lilke them. Just make sure your girlfriend has a jacket and you woun't have to give her yours.

because it's the gentlemanly thing to do....wear something warm so that if you do give up your jacket you won't be cold either...
