Just what DO you believe is the origin of the species we see today, (all species, including bacteria and viruses)?

And honestly, How old do you think the earth is? and indeed the universe?
Can you admit it without losing every bit of credibility?

I do believe that evolution is part of our world, however, I am a christian and believe in creation. I do believe we evolve, I just do not believe that that is how we came to be. Its just my belief, if you have a problem with that, then thats exactly what it is - your problem.

Cheers and have a nice day!

While evolution does not explain how life began on Earth, it does explain how life has developed and changed into the multitude of organisms we see today. Again, the Earth is about 4.5 to 5 billion years old (from geologic records) and the Universe is about 12 to 15 billion years old (from the Cosmic Background Radiation).

I can't answer that question. I honestly don't know. And neither do you.

However, I find it very hard to believe that the complex polymers necessary to life can form and remain stable in the conditions assumed for the early earth. If you were to expose things like proteins and nucleic acids to strong UV light and high temperatures, they would be denatured.

It's perfectly ok to believe in evolution and also believe in creationism... many people do. Who's to say that God didn't create people by having them go through changes over time? We have no idea what Adam and Eve looked like.

Anyone who disagrees with this is completely ridiculous and will be the end of religion, because eventually no one intelligent will be able to take it seriously. You're doing no one a favor.

For me evolution is not a subject of debate.Much like the laws of gravity it is established science and people denying it are not taken serious by me.I accept and tolerate their belief just like I would accept and tolerate someone who wants to believe the earth is flat. That doesn't mean I have to respect those beliefs

Don't you just hate it when God's method of creating doesn't follow some folks preconceived notions, and they hold fast to their notions and deny God's method? There's more than enough room for God and evolution to exist, except in the heads of the small minded.

This poster does NOT believe that man evolved from monkeys. Too many confuse adaptation with evolution.

There is NO proof of men having tails and swinging in trees prior to developing into man.

Let this poster know when they find the missing links...
