Once I had been asking the same question but finally I got very good downloader which can down load Google/Youtube and other web's items and it is very fast and safe.

Copy the link of the desire video (Right-Click on the video > Copy Link Address) and Paste them into the box of the website given below and hit download, it gives you the download link.

You can easily download videos from YouTube (and other sites) by using Mozilla FireFox and installing the VideoDownloader extension at https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/2390/
Or if you prefer you may copy the link of the desired video and paste into this Web site http://keepvid.com/ to download.
