That totally depends on what kind of email account you have. You have go to give us more info. Unless you are using your yahoo account, then you just need your name, password and an internet browser.

Leave it online (at Yahoo! or Gmail or the like) then just get online, like say, at a motel room with a cable (if the someone else's computer has an ethernet hole) or a wifi hot spot (if the someone else's computer has a wireless card) and logon your email id, and check your email...

If it is on the internet: just use their internet.
If it is in your office: if it is exchange, then you need to have your IT dude(ette) configure Outlook web access.
If you are using any other kind of email setup (pop3, smtp, imap) you need to configure outlook express on that machine to see and use that e-mail.
