The current actors at one time said three would be it for them, but recently Dunst and Maquire both said if Raimi came back for another installment they would too...
No one has given a definite answer to that question but there were some clues that could mean there would possibly be another one...During one scene in the movie there was a front page headline saying that Doc Ock was still on the loose.
With any movie franchise you have to look at the fact that sooner or later the actors will become too old to play the parts they are playing so while the movies may go on later, we may not see the same actors in the roles...
As it stands now, Raimi is tied up in projects until 2009 and not one of them is Spiderman 4 as one poster said...What is on imdb.com is just speculation.

No it is not. Marvel has confirmed that they plan to do a Spiderman 4 and 5. All of the casts says that they would be more than happy to be in films four and five.

mcguire is not currently contracted to act in any more spiderman movies, but that does not mean he will not negotiate, and just like superman returns, another actior may play spiderman

production, production, production. Then comes try shows, very final cuts, copies, top's, and finally distribution. Its all timed out on their time table no longer yours. Any hiccups and then there are rescheduling, wait and see and wait till at last could.
