of course theyre gettin it together. their pitching is fine when healthy- wang has 19 game winning potential. pettite is a proven winner. moose had a great start yesterday vs. the rangers. hughes was pitching a gem and will be fine when he returns. I think Clemens will be back later this year and who knows with pavano? their bullpen has been good but overused. They have Jose Tabata in their system but they should wait a few years to bring him up. If the pitching doesn't get better- then they should make a trade. but as of now, theyre fine.

If Roger Clemens decides to pitch, Yankees will give him whatever amount he asks. Cleveland Indians are looking to deal CC Sabithia so the Yankee will be all over that. The A's are also wanting to trade one of their pitchers (not sure which one) so that's a possibility. The farm system is not really the place to go if you want to win. They have NO pitching prospects. They traded them away to get Abreu last year.

the season is long... and with the yankees' money and rotation, there's no reason they can't see someone get into a grrove and start pitching really well, soon... if not, they can always do what they do best: wheel and deal! if anything, they have a hell of a minor league farm system that they can reach for and find a suitable 4th or 5th man in the rotation!

they are getting it together and when all of their pitching gets healthy is when they will make their move...they could end up with roger clemens or make a trade, but i think their farm system may be a little too devoid of strong starters to look there for any significant help

the best way for the yankees to improve pitching is to get healthy. they have a lot of injuries for this early in the season. i think firing the conditioning coach was a wise move.

I would rather see them "take one for the team" and miss the playoffs, but give some of the farm pitchers significant playing time and experience, than to have them bring in that old part-timer, Clemens.

Hang in there Danny. Things are getting on track slowly but surely.
Everyone has stepped it up and things look much better this past week. Look forward to more of the same.

Their good showing is only temporary. I mean beating the Texas Rangers is really no feat. Their pitching is shallow and will not stand under the strain of the race.
