So I'll be 29 weeks tomorrow *YAY* & I'm doing good...mostly belly, still have an innie belly button & no linea negra....My question to all the moms to be or current moms is......

When, if at all, did you get the line? I'm just trying to see if I'm in the clear of that or not.....

Also, on the same track....when did your belly button pop out if at all?

Thanks!

I'm 31 weeks tomorrow, and my belly button is half-popped. It's been trying to pop out for about a week now, but it's apparently a really slow process, and the top half of it has popped out, while the bottom half is still thinking. Haha. I was average weight/thin when I got pregnant, but I have a really really deep belly button. Anyway, I got my linea negra at about 15 or 16 weeks. Lucky you, maybe you won't get one!

i didn't get a Linea Negra with my first pregnancy and i don't think I'll get it this time either i have an outy belly button so it didn't really change it just spread a little bit but went back to normal afterwards, I've heard that the Linea Negra is more common in darker skinned women or women that tan easily and it usually appears around 15 weeks.

I got the line right around 37 or 38 weeks - right around the same time my belly button popped. It was late b/c I carried pretty small.

I mostly just wanted to let you know that it really does go away, though it takes a while. I'm 6 months postpartum, and fair skinned - and you really have to look to see it now. Don't worry, all those "Mommy scars" are worth it!

my belly button started to pop out around 5 months I had the line definitely by then and my line is still there..for some people it never goes away, its a lot fainter though and to be honest it adds character, and being a mom is the best thing in the world, so who really cares about a silly line or belly buttons?

I got my linea nigra at about 25-26wks. I'm very fair-skinned, so it's pretty light.
My belly button's still an innie, but it's kind of starting to flatten a bit now. Not sure when, or if, it'll pop.
:)

Well, i wa spretty thin 5'6 128 lbs and never really got an outie, it popped out just barley but looked mostly flat, i think it has to do with your elly button type( i had a super innie before) i got me linea negre at about 20 weeks or so. i have seen women who were way bigger than me who had outies

I never got the line with either of my kids. and my belly button was always an innie. I guess some people get it and other don't. I did get a roadmap of stretch marks though.

i'm particularly honest-skinned myself (do no longer you love Scandinavians?) and that i began out noticing a faint line at approximately 25 weeks besides. i'm 35 weeks now and it is grown from my abdomen button to my pubic bone and darkened in basic terms slightly on condition that then. whether, it won't be darkish yet... you do no longer even word it up close, yet i can verify it in abdomen pictures slightly. My sister stated she had it too and it does fade away fairly immediately. i do no longer fairly positioned faith in creams or something, yet I do rub on Palmer's Cocoa Butter after each and every bathe (it does not harm to objective!), basically in case. My wellbeing care expert says my tummy seems good and that i probable won't have everlasting being pregnant marks afterwards. you may try it, "basically in case". :) good luck with the toddler! 3 greater weeks and you'd be interior the third trimester!

Most hispanic women get the "lines negra" a lot of women get the "cuello *****" or "mejillas negras" My grand ma used to say that with the baby's first urine you use to clean your skin with it... only the baby's first urine... its like a special astringent...if you will get the line... well I think it's GENETIC... if some one in your family had it....maybe you will probably have it.. its different in everybody... every pregnancy is different...
