both can be tough subjects even for people that like you...i worked as a hair stylist, and i remember in school our teacher said there's 2 subjects you try to avoid with clients...#1 politics and #2 religion

I have never had a discussion with someone that I knew hated me... Cause If they hated me I would definetly not talk to them. So it is definetly a toss up. .Reason being It don't matter what the conversation is about if u r talking to someone u hate u will disagree just to disagree.

Why would you discuss ANYTHING with a person who hates you? Why waste your time? And, I don't discuss abortion, religion, or politics with people that I LIKE!!!!

I would have to say food!! Mention the word vegetarian to the typical omnivore, or the other way around, and watch the fur fly. My husband was more upset about our daughter becoming a vegetarian than over anything I have ever seen in 14 years together. He was absolutely outraged. Now that he sees how clearly healthy she is after 3 years as a veggie, he doesnt mind, but he still tries to get her to eat meat. Poke around in the food section in the vegetarian/vegan catagory, and you will see what I mean! Too funny, and sooooo silly!

One things for sure..You don't wanna go talkin about either if yer at a bar. I used to bartend and you gotta nip that kinda talk in the bud, A*S*A*P !! If not you'll be slingin beers all night, because the crowd will never leave.
