I am 4 1/2 months pregnant & the last time I was at the dr was April 19th....my doctor scheduled my next appt for May 17th....at my last appt I heard my babys heart beat and it was at 160..strong & healthy...but for some reason I keep thinking something is wrong..am I being paranoid??

I've had no cramping, no bleeding, no spotting...nothing but for some reason I keep worrying about a miscarriage. Like I am going to be at the dr's & them tell me the worst! Why am I stressing myself like this? This is my first pregnancy...is this normal???? Is it possible I had a miscarriage if I haven't had any symptoms of one???

Weird question I know...sorry....

take courage. you are carrying a great blessing from God! if you may, meditate on 1 Chronicles 22:9.

great things are happening to you and your unborn child!
God Bless!!!

well i felt the sma way but stressing isn't good at all if you stress then it can harm the baby i konw the every month doc. appts seem so far away but if there was something wornd trust me the dctor will have no other choice than to talk to you about the situation(s) when your next appt ask questions as far as bein almost five months you should be outta the dangers or miscarriage. i thought for the longest time something is wrong or what if something went wrong but if there is noo signs and the doctor say your baby is fine plus the heartbeat is grat then don't stress urshelf out you are good to go don't think bad always good this is my 1st also and boi i probably was worst than you i called the doctor weekly and asked lots of questions and did research and asked others too and thanks to that all i fel much better also you can go to target walmart and get a heart beat monitor and every time you feel scarred or what ever put that on your tummy and when ever you hear a heart beat or hiccups the baby is fine some times it's diffrent sounds but it helped me and i passed it on to you...

I am going through the same thing, I had a miscarriage last Oct. 2006 and I am now 13 weeks pregnant. I went to the doc. just yesterday and heard the heartbeat but yet my brain still runs wild worring about all the things that could go wrong at any minute. We are both probably just stressing to much and may be a bit to paranoid. But I am sure we will both be just fine if we dont drive ourselves nuts first, lol..

Hiya - With my first born (4years ago) i felt exactly the same i did nothing but panic and have nightmares thinking something was going to go wrong at any time. It never and everything was perfect!
Honestly it's easy to say yet hard to do, relax, put your feet up, go shopping for funky maternity & baby clothes! Focus on being posative while pregnant and all the fun things you can do! The way you are feeling is normal, just try to relax etc andhave fun. XX Best wishes

your worries are very common. Just try to relax and not stress out. This is my first pregnancy as well (with twins) so I have double the worry. And I tend to read A LOT about pregnancy which also doesn't help with the stress. So I'm slowly learning not to read too many articles and just stick to the basics and wait for my appointments when my doctor can do the ultrasounds and check the babies.

It's totally normal to have worries, but if you feel your worrying and stress is actually causing you or your baby physical harm, you might want to invest in renting a doppler (fetal heart monitor.) I did that during the last month of my first pregnancy and it gave me so much reassurance.

Totally normal hun. You will be worried about a lot of things throughout your entire pregnancy/and a lot when you child is a baby. You have to take big deep breaths, take a sip of water, and relax. Things will be fine.

Honey, I was paranoid with both of my pregnancies! It is normal to worry...you just want your baby to be OK. Totally normal and happens to all of us! The stress is not good for your little one, so just sit back, relax and enjoy your pregnancy!!

Calm down, you already heard the heartbeat, and you haven't had any bleeding. That baby is just fine and so are you!!
