If anyone has seen the movie blood diamond, what did you think of it? I thought it was an absolutely astounding/amazing movie. I loved it. It was sad though. :(

I loved this movie too! I have to admit is was difficult to stop staring at Leo long enough to get the plot, but I did it. Much like Syriana made me want to trade in my gas guzzler, Blood Diamond makes me never want to own any diamonds!

If you had told me I would believe that Leo was a hardened, bad ***, cruel, fearless cold blooded diamond smuggler, I wouldn't have believed it. But he made me believe, and made me believe it when the good showed up in him. Both male leads were remarkable. It is so foreign to us that things like depicted in this movie, happen but they do. Great work from everyone in this movie.

The movie surprised me a lot. I wasn't expecting it to be so good. And now I understand why Leo & Djimon were nominated for Oscars.
I agree with you it can be a very depressing/sad movie.

It was a good movie. I wouldn't say it was my favorite, but it was worthy of seeing.

i absolutely loved it! in the sense that it was so powerful and so meaningful. the violence did upset me though.... leo was outstanding in in too, and he did look so cute...
