There's an old folktale that tells of the Devil mopping around heaven; so God says to him "why don't you go and stir up some trouble on Earth". The Devil replies "because everytime I get there Man has started it for himself!"

All creatures that are able to ask "Am I..."have sentience (selfe aware)
The Devil is not 'a' devil.Satan is an archangel, firstborn of the cosmic dust from whence we all come.

The difference between The Devil aka Satan/the Adversary, and your simple devil or Imp has been debated over the centuries in every culture.
Simple devils and imps descend from Lilith's fornication w/ Lucifer therby awarding them free will deigned us all by HIM.
Subsequently they often fight amongst themselves for heirachy and salvation. Some have even achieved sainthood by betraying their Brethern

Ok there is no such thing as the Devil...he was invented by Christians to force others to become Christian by making a mockery of The Horned god in the Old Religion. BUT...if he was real...which he is not...think about this. We have only gods word that the Devil is the bad guy here but look at the facts. Firstly that a perfect God could make such imperfect creations such as the Devil or Lucifer who went against Him...and mankind which did the same. Secondly that god and the Devil fought for control of Heaven and God won....then He doesnt get rid of his opponent..oh no...he puts the Devil in charge of the place where His children are...the Earth. WTF is THAT all about. He is supposed to love mankind as his children...well save me from a Daddy like that. He sounds like a petulant child....certainly not the perfect being he portrays himself to be. Just something for you 'faith' based creatures to think on....but then thinking is usually the last thing you do...so there you go.

The forces of Creation are nuetral. They just exist.
Yet, there are zillions of beings with free will, and many chose to do wrong. And those that act constructively, become part of the Creative aspect. And those that act destructively, become part of the destructive, (recycling), aspect.
I've wondered if true spiritual evil is a form of insanity on the part of the individual being. And I've never known a crazy person that admitted he was crazy.

Lived as I he once lived.
From start of religion you try to find one to blame for your misbehaves.

I would not speak so lightly.
Why are you suddenly thinking about the devil?
Is it because Manchester United lost against AC milan?

There are no gods and there are no devils.
All myths and lost in antiquity, superstition and supposition.
There are forces of evil and forces of good - but mostly earthbound.
It`s all in the mind. The more intelligent one is, the less they are likely to be religious because they are capable of thinking for themselves.
Only the lonely, gullible and low intelligent people believe in religion.
