why do people watch those shows. you know there fake. they are actually as fake as wrestling. so why watch them. the best answer gets the points.

Sorry, I guess I won't get the 10 points, but I can't stand reality tv - I actually watched the first season of "The Real World" on MTV years ago & I thought the concept was cool - but now those shows are so played out & fake
and Survivor, etc. ugh! those shows are totally uninteresting to me

I watch them to see how stupid people can act when they think they have a chance to win a lot of money. Not only can they act like imbeciles, they tend to let their brains go on vacation. If you want to get a good laugh, try watching 'the Bachelor' or 'Deal or No Deal' or 'Survivor', or worse are some of them on MTV or VH1 or where-ever.

This won't be your best answer, but I only watched them when I was extremely depressed and stayed in bed most of the time. It didn't help my depression but it did pass the time.
