i was supposed to get my period today but 3 days ago i started bleeding. it was so light i didn't need anything. it lasted about 24 hours skipped a day and i started spotting again this morning, still very light, i've had off and on very mild cramping even when not bleeding, taken 4 preg tests because 2 were pos 2 were neg. also having preg symptoms but the diff results have me confused, any experiences or advice would be appreciated.

Right before I found out for sure I was pregnant- I had what I thought was a period- but it only lasted less than 24 hours-- I also was cramping like I was getting my period- but I was a week late. I had 3 negative preg tests...then when I was almost 2 weeks late I bought one last test and it was positive! I immediately called the doctor and got a blood test to confirm it. Did you get the neg tests first then the pos? It's rare to get a postive test and it be wrong. You should go to your doctor or clinic immediately and get blood work- thats the best way for sure to know!

The first 2 were positive? or the last 2..? You could be having a miscarriage, but at this very early stage it would be nothing more than a heavy period.. you should wait a week to see if you have a full "regular" period... if you do not, take another pregnancy test... and see what that says... in the meantime should you suffer any unusual symptoms like large clots or extremely heavy bleeding you should head to your Dr. This could be a lot of things.. not all of which are scary.. so take care of yourself properly... and if you hope you are NOT pregnant, use proper birth control next time!!! I need a lot more info to help you any further......

I always like to tell people that a positive test is almost always right while a negative one is questionable. If a test comes out positive then that is because somewhere in your body there is the slightest trace of the pregnancy hormone. It could be too early and that is why you are getting mixed results but i would go with yes.

Go see your doctor, or health nurse. They can confirm if you are pregnant better that we can. But it sounds like you had a light period, nothing more. Use to happen to me a lot. If you want to know for sure, go to a doctor.
