My "spirit" is merely my brain referencing itself...
To think that the self-referencing will continue after my brain ceases to function defies logic.
A paradox does not exist if no one is there to identify it.

there is no heaven or hell. when i died, it will be like a great adventure of going to the 5th dimension of life that is not occupied space controlled by time. it will be a place thousands light years away from human habitat. a place where i can freely cry without branded as suicidal depression by psychiatrists. a place where understanding and respect are the foundation of love. a place where i am welcome to stay and being respected.

There is no actual place called heaven and not one called hell, either. These places are fantasy and don't really exist.

I'll go to heaven because I've already served my time in hell.

My energy will move from this physical body to re-join with the universal energy that is everything.
OH...you said why?
Everything is energy in one form or another...just because your physical body dies, does not mean that the energy just goes away or disappears. Energy cannot be created nor destroyed; energy just changes to one form to another.

I actually don't believe in either. I think that somehow our spirits, or souls, or what ever you want to call it, survive and if we are not ready to move on then we become what we would call a ghost. Those that move on are reincarnated. I think that you should believe what you want to believe. This is what I believe. ~Eve

I've 'died' many times and here I am. When you 'die', you don't go anywhere. When you 'live', then you go to 'heaven' or to 'hell'. I'm in 'heaven' now, no questions asked....LOL
Good luck!
