I think she should get whatever punishment that anyone else would get for comiting the same crime. If that means jail time than so be it. If that means her license is revoked than so be it. Hey, it isn't like she can't afford a driver....I don't think she should get a harsher punishment because of who she is though. i think a lot of people would like to see her get into big trouble because they don't like her.

Yes, Paris Hilton has long had a reputation for being stuck up and spoiled. She thinks that because her name is Hilton she can do whatever she wants. No one is above the law, including her. Her drivers license was suspended and she intentionally drove a car when she was told not to. In the real world people go to jail for that, and for more than 45 days I might add. She is about 26 years old and acts like a 13 year old. I really can never see her running the Hilton empire. She's too unserious.

Yes I think that she should go to jail but since she is a celebrity and has enough money to afford a good lawyer it will never happen. The judge will probably sentence her to community service or something as equally dumb, so she won't get any jail time. Besides she wouldn't last two days in jail without having some sort of nervous breakdown.

it fairly is particularly much OJ on a lesser scale. No commonly used individual might get out of detention center for this, there are human beings sent to detention center with maximum cancers, HIV, and so on for non-violent crimes. fairly she is given each and every thing as she is by her mom and dad for having no skills in any respect. She did no longer should have her unique sentence decreased interior the 1st place and now to pass domicile to her mom and dad mansion, I wager there are events she will have the skill to attend the two there or perhaps some how sneaking out as Martha Stewart did together with her ankle bracelet. next time she could be put in with the final inhabitants see how that scares her.

Me too. The DA is reccomending 45 days in jail, no drinking for 90 days, and require her to wear a monitor so they can regulate if she violates the drinking ban. She is not above the law.

If John Doe was charged with the same thing and there is mandatory jail time, then yes. Mr. Doe would have to go to jail, she's not special.

she should (voluntarily) go to a treatment program like the one at Sierra Tucson and then to Advanced Recovery Center....then she would be free from drugs.

It is a serious problem. It is difficult for most people to quit. No one can be forced into quitting. Luckily she has not killed anyone.
