Sure you can. When doing the design try using the web layout (under view) then when you have finished do a save as web page (under file)

There are better and easier ways though

Yes, you can. Although using software designed for webpage-making such as MS FrontPage and Macromedia Dreamweaver would be best.

If you're using MS Office XP or the like, under "File" you can see "Save as Webpage". That's it. Although how it looks on Word may not exactly be how it will be as a webpage.

That's why I prefer What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) Editors especially FrontPage, which is very easy to use especially if you're familiar with the MS Office Tools and Layout.

You could, you can save the files as HTML, but it would require typing the entire thing. I prefer Crimson Editor, it's free and it color codes everything (after you save the file so it knows the type) If your willing to spend money then Dreamweaver would be a better choice, it will write alot of the code for you.

Yes, just create a normal document and then "Save As" and change the "Save As Type" at the bottom of the save dialog box to "Web Page *.html"

Yeah, you can make a Web Site in word, in fact its really simple.. Just make the sheet as you always do and save it like a web page or HTML.
But I tell you, It's the worst way to do it hehe. I'd recommend using Dreamweaver, and fireworks to do your page.. they are really simple and intuitive to use, and you can download a trial version to acomplish the site you want.

Try them, you'll get much more than using Word.

Good luck! :D

I recommend you use MS Front Page for that.

However, theoritically, if you open a text file in MS Word, and start typing html, then save the file as a text file, with a .html extention, you will wind up with a web page... although, you would be doing it the difficult way.

Use MS Front Page!

i guess you could. you just type your html out the old school way. I like using Dreamweaver better. Although i can code html by hand, i'd rather save me a couple hours worth of typing

Sure, you just save your creation as "webpage" from the drop-down save-as menu. But it's not the 'correct' way of doing it.

Yes, you can "save as" html or webpage.
It won't actually appear as you see in Word but still ok to do this.
