It's because work is usually a dreadful place to be. And Yahoo Answers is a place to escape mentally and think about something that you would rather be thinking about instead of being bothered by things that you find to be annoying or boring. Anyway time tends to fly when you're not bored.

I'm not gonna say anything new:
you enjoy your time on Yahoo!Answers - so time passes by fast; you do not enjoy your job - so it seems killing long till it's over.
I know that it's not that easy to find such job,but why don't you do something you are interested in?
