ok here's the deal on my desktop i have alot of stuff like games msn messanger and things like that but i turned my computer on and everything has changed into a piece of paper with a bent corner at the right hand side and then a little box in with a red thing blue thing and a green thing and anytime i try to open a game ec...it just goes darker and does not open ( good desctription eh?) it's also like this on my left hand side desktop please help thanks

to much stuff on they desk top taking up to much memory to open anything start deleting thigs in add/reomve to free up memory

Could be a virus or other mal-ware. Make sure that WinXP/Vista is up to date. Then download and update AVG Free anti-virus from Grisoft, Ad-Aware from Lavasoft, Spy-bot Search and Destroy from downloads.com. Run them in "safe mode" also to make sure that all the baddies are removed. Another more likly possibility is that the registry is corrupt, try running Advanced Personal Care from iobit. That may solve your problems, if not you may have to try a non-destructive repair install of WinXP to correct any corrupt files in the O.S..

Order a copy of Knoppix from http://www.frozentech.com Put it in the CD, reboot. Then type "knoppix-installer" on a command line. That will fix it!

try to access the source file inside C:/program files and open it from the folder, if that does not work you will have to reinstall the program and if that does not work you have a virus

well i hhate to say it but you need to reinstall every thing or else it won't change.
