magneto.... well, technichally pheonix, but my fave is Magneto partly cuz he's played my Ian Mackellan and also cuz of his powers.

Out of all mutants, I would say that Sebastian Shaw has the greatest potential for strength. One that has unfortunately never been explored in comics. He can shunt impacts into his own muscle. Out of those that have actually been members of the X-Men, Colossus fits the bill. It should be noted that while Juggernaut has been a member of the X-Men, he is not a mutant.
