Its a mess, it has been for a long time and anybody that thinks we can fix it is a complete moron.

the middle east is a compass point...the people living there who are radical islamic fundamentalists bent on restoring the pre-ww1caliphate and who will stop at nothing including and especially targeting innocent civilians to bring the infidels to heel and impose sharia'a law upon the world. a world where you convert or die...
these people are not our friends, they are not our allies, they cannot be bargained with, they cannot be reasoned with, they cannot be appeased, diplomacy is viewed as weakness and is used to make increasingly untenable demands on willing victims, they feel no pain nor pity, have no fear or remorse, and they absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are dead!
okay, so i took some poetic license there and ripped off 'terminator' a bit, but....you get the idea i'm sure.

middle east is very rich place because of his oil... in general, but Iraq is the richest place not for the middle east only, but for the world, besides Iraq is rich because of his culture, civilization, .....
