All I know is that Sacajawea guided the Lewis and Clark Expedition across the country and back while carrying her newborn son, Pompeii, or Pomp, as she called him.

From that name it is suggested that Pompeii's Pillar in southeast Wyoming was named after the boy. This landmark was used in a science-fiction movie some years ago and is commonly called the Devil's Tower.
