can i get pokemon from other games in to pokemond diamond ?

Yes, once you get pal park you can put Sapphire, Ruby, Leaf Green, Emerald and Fire Red into the GBA slot and have them migrate to your Pokrmon Diamond.

After you have obtained the national dex and beaten the elite four, you should be able to get to pal park (surf south of sandem town), and you can there migrate your pokemon from r/s/e and fr/lg. Beware that once pokemon are moved to d/p, they cannot be migrated back to the other games.
