Did Clinton ever want it?

Every president should have it. The Congress can override it if it is so important. Any vetoed item should be able to stand alone anyway. What is everyone so afraid of?

better question.. why didn't they move for it when they had the presidency and congress in their power.. why wait? IMO they knew they couldn't have it in the end.. and are just bringing it up recently as a knock against the democrats.... just more politics.

Maybe they understand its importance now. So is now the time to play that "you did it to us so now we are doing it to you" BS? That is just the sort of cry-baby poopy butt thing that is expected of the left.
