Do You think that Chris should have gotten voted off of American Idol? I mean, Phil Stacy I understand, but Chris didn't do all that bad. From what I saw, a couple of the girls were worse than Chris. I think that it is unfair that Blake is the only guy on American idol. I know that makes me seem sexist, but Chris has some real talent, and I honestly think that he should have stayed on the show.

I realize that Chris is gone. I know that he won't be back on the show. But compared to the way that some of the girls sand on the last episode, I see no reason why one of the girls should not have been voted off also. From what I saw, they did not do too hot. At least Chris didn't butcher his song like phil did.

Chris will go sooner or later and so does lakisha in the coming weeks.i don't see them as the winner.chris has talent but he has to work on his showmanship.he didn't memorize his lyrics prior to meeting the guest mentor.he doesn't have stage presence like blake and he couldn't care less if he didn't win because he's in the top 10.i can't stand his nasally singing sometimes.people who make it to the semifinals have the talent.does that mean they are the winners? there can only be one person left at the end.

You can't be serious. I think you may need to get your ears checked. Chris was horrible! He was a no talent Justin Timberlake wanna be. And how on earth could you say the girls were worse than him?! Melinda blows Chris way outta the water! And don't get me started on Jordin's amazing voice! It should have been LaKisha leaving with Chris the other night instead of Phil.
And how can you consider Blake being the last guy "unfair"? That's how America voted. They're not going to bring another guy in just because there are 3 girls and 1 guy. Get real.
And after seeing your additional details I had to say this: They're also not going to kick a girl off just because the ratio would be uneven. The reason people get kicked off is because they got the lowest number of votes. Do you even watch the show on a regular basis? Or was this past week's episode the only one you've ever seen?

The girl who did not so great that week was Jordin Sparks. She wasn't voted off because it was a two week combined vote, and she had done great the week before. And Melinda and Lakisha did great that week that the two were voted off, and did not deserve to go. Besides, Blake did pretty well both weeks. It was Phil and Chris that should have gone, and they did.

Chris was my favorite guy, but he doesn't have the God-given talent Lakisha and Melinda have It always seemed as if he had to try so hard to make his sound pretty and well listenable, compared to Lakisha or Melinda. Phil should of been gone a long time ago, but I'm not sure who was better, Chris or Blake??

Chris DEFINITELY should have been voted off. Although, his performance this week was pretty good. I'm a fan of Phil's, but he didn't do a very good job this week. He totally BUTCHERED "Blaze of Glory" when he wasn't on key or in time with the song on his Tuesday performance. Phil did MUCH better when he was voted off though. Now, WHY couldn't he be that good on Tuesday?!?!?
To get back to Chris, there's already ONE Justin Timberlake/Michael Jackson act out there. We don't need another.

I have been a die hard AI fan ever since Season One. The truth is that this season is THE WORST ever!!! The contestants are not interesting and do not have a dynamic set of talents. Not only are the contestants boring, but, .... song choice is horrible all around. C'mon,,,.... Katherine McPhee, Chris Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson and others were all runner's up on AI and NONE of the contestants this year compare to the ones that have been standing in past finals (not to mention grammy award winners, Kelly and Carrie). So, .... should Chris have been voted off? Yes!!! But, none of them should win. Believe me, I have good things to say about others: Melinda, Blake and Jordin, but, .... Grammy winners they are not!!

I understand your opinion on Phil, but Chris I don't get. The girls I think were the show- and Chris' voice was VERY pitchy and he wasn't prepared. Chris does have some talent, but out of everyone he deserved to go home.

Are you kidding? Chris sounded like a weasel with a sinus infection. He was long overdue to be voted off in my book. And it not being "fair" that Blake is the only guy...that's just the way it is. It would be stupid if there were an even number of guys and girls just so it wouldn't be considered "sexist."

i thought that the girls were not that good this past week, but they have been very good before. phil and chris had some really rough weeks and i think that they should have been voted off, however, lakisha needs to go. she messed up not only a carrie underwood song, then followed that train reck with a fantashia song in which she murdered! lets just all be thankful that sanyja is gone!

I think chris should have stayed, but the bright side is that he might get a contract with an outside recording artist. I think even Phil might get one because he sang blaze of glory pretty good. I don't think Chris would have won anyways. Hopefully he will be a Chris daughtry.
