Isn't this another example of arrogance?

Won't the healing process start if this arrogance is alleviated?

Everybody in the World, bar Bushcos know this......

I think many in the U.S. are admitting failure in Iraq, from Democrats, to a few brave Republicans who still maintain some semblance of integrity. Even many hard line conservatives in talk radio are finally retracting what was once, seemingly, unwavering support for Bush and his policies. Unfortunately, it’s the people that matter - the neoconservatives in the halls of our government and the President himself - who could end this human tragedy in Iraq with a stroke of a pen, who are flagrantly defying popular wisdom and just plain clear logic.

I am sure you will hear some act of contrition, where Bush and his cronies acknowledge their culpability for foibles in Iraq, but this unfortunately will come long after they have left office, and probably near close to their deathbeds. In any case, we can rest assured, like most bigwigs in Washington, regardless of how egregious their violations against human rights were, they will escape justice.

Its times like this when I long for the God of the Old Testament to truly exist – a all powerful being who exacts excruciating punishment in the hereafter on those who escape justice in this life. Yahweh hear our cries, and smite the unjust!

The crisis in Iraq (everything is a crisis these days) should be put squarely on the shoulders of those that are causing the death and destruction of innocents by the truckload-Al-Quida and the nutcases that think true religion allows you to murder, maim, and torture folks in huge numbers in the name of God. Thats a neat little thing we do in this country-blame everything and everybody for something except the perpetrator. You want to see a bloodbath, just wait until we pull out. Maybe the whole middle east will get into the act and then they can really have some fun. That just may leave that region a smoldering mass of rubble with plenty of dead to go around and oil disruptions that could last a long long time-especially if the bad guys win. Then when your paying 10 bux a gallon maybe that won't seem like such a good idea after all. Of course, it will be too late by then but what the hell. We all need to get a lot more exercise anyways.

The American people overwhelmingly have voiced their opinion of the the debacle in Iraq. President Bush's approval rating hovers around 28 to 30%.

Clearly 70% of Americans have decided that continued involvement in Iraq in the best interest of our country.

I believe it is an example of Bush's arrogance and or his inability to see anything that disagrees with his opinion.

Mr. Bush suffers from hubris. It is such a problem for him (and us) that he will never admit he is wrong about anything. He has said that he will stay in Iraq even if no one but his wife and his dog agrees with him. This should tell you all you need to know. He and Cheney both should be impeached and removed from office. Then our troops can come home and the healing process can begin..

The US has. Its just the Bush Administration and 29% of idiots that still support him that will not take responsibility for the chaos that consumes Iraq.

Never, because the crisis is not caused by the US.
You purport to speak for everyone in the world except those who support President Bush. Isn't that arrogant??

Don't say the US, because the administration that has lied, cheated and bought their way into the White House has nothing to do with how us real americans feel. Mind you he has the lowest apporval rating ever and we all push for us to leave but he won't have it because he is making too much money for himself and his friends over there.

By the way Republicans never take responsibility for their actions, never.

blah blah blah.. this is getting to be boring. Instead of supporting and helping to find an end you libs just wanna point your fingers and point blame. How is that going to help? How is abandoning a country going to help anything? Acting like Americans are Nazis. I'm not saying everything is okay, but its messed up over there, with or without Americans.

Last time I checked I'm in the world, and I don't agree with you. I would like to go on, but I just voided your entire question with logic. It shows how simple minded you really are. What else you got?
