Sweety, its is no wonder that your back and chest ache! You've been over-exerting yourself!! When last - previously - have you EVER done such a lot of hard physical labor? This is not the kind of tasks you tackle without being "physically fit" for it (with LOTS of practice and prior experience!!). Your back muscles and the smaller muscles between your ribs are simply not used to such a lot of exercise (yet!!). Even the muscles in your boobs would show signs of overexertion (remember the do more than simply hold your mammary gland upright!). Take it slow and get used to the hard physical labor and your body will gradually become accustomed to it - without the aches and pains! Good luck!!

Could be less serious than the first post. What kind of pain - sharp or constant ache?
It sounds a bit more like muscle strain. If those muscles are being worked more than previously, they're gonna hurt until they get in shape. My husband gets this everytime he goes back out on the job after time off (construction).

I'm not sure---I do know that those muscles can take a long time to heal. Any muscles actually. When I was working outside of my home, I was managing a large chain hotel (100 rooms) and we had to fold king size sheets. Spreading my arms out (like a T) and then bringing them back in, repetitively, caused major pain in my muscles of back and shoulders (including the front) also between shoulder blades. I went to the doctor and she gave me a muscle relaxer but it didn't help much. Through a bit of research I found out that muscles take a very long time to heal. Your doctor can determine what is actually injured.

Go to the doctor... you may have an upper respiratory infection going, especially from breathing in the dust and ammonia from animal urine and feces. Your upper back probably hurts from muscle pain... your chest area could be muscular, and it could be a lung thing.
Make sure and wear a mask when changing cages... and go to a doctor and make sure you don't need an antibiotic.

Best option is to go and see a doctor. A friend had such pains and ended up in the hospital with a heart attack. Could just be strained muscles but I would not take a chance. Your health is just too important to trust to a answer board.

You could have pushed yourself a little to far with all your heavy lifting. Give yourself a couple of days if you are still in pain then check out your doctor

Probably been working muscles that don't usually get worked. So you are probably just sore from the awkward positions.

You are doing things your body probably is not used too. You are using muscles you haven't used much before, they will adjust. Results, a straighter back and higher boobs. Lucky you!
