Are you trying to use sex to delay a period? Sex can delay a period for up to 40 weeks in some cases. Are you using contraception if you're trying not to get pregnant? You can get pregnant ANYTIME you have sex whether it's your first time or not. Please consider also the risk of stds and use a condom. Be safe!

There are only 2 ways sex can change your menstral cycle, one, you are pregnant, or two, you have an STD. Either way, if you are more than 2 weeks late, you should see your doctor. If you don't have a doctor, find your local pregnancy clinics. Planned Parenthood is a good one.

it could actually it delay mine by one week n thought i was pregnant but done a test n i wasnt ....that was long ago....but would say get a test done

from my experience, if im close to starting my period, having sex brings it on, not delays it.

Im sure it can throw your cycle off but there is no designated time for when your period will show up. I hope you used protection!

it really shouldnt but it could and i wouldnt expect it to be long at all, did you use protection? if not you should test to be sure and then maybe get on birth control if you are going to be sexually active, be careful!!!
