You should probably take it to the vet if you want to keep it, because turtles from the wild have a chance of carrying salminila (hope that's spelled right). No one knows where that cute little turtle was swimming yesterday morning so I wouldn't take chances.

Turtles carry salmonella. You should always wash your hands after handling any reptile or amphibian or fish, etc. But this one is a little harder to "keep" then most.

Filtration One of the most common problems with keeping an aquatic turtle is keeping the water clean. Dirty water carries bacterial and parasitic diseases - it also stinks. Regular water changes as described above are one way of doing this. Another method is to use a filter system similar to one that would be used for a fish tank. Even if you implement a filtration system, you will need to replace at least 25% of the water each week and fully change the water once every other week. Ammonia, nitrates, nitrites and bacteria will still buildup causing health problems.

Are attempting some Bil-Jac frozen pet food or thawed pinky mice. Every turtle i've ever owned has eaten these. Additionally, keep feeding the pellets.Try exceptional brands except she accepts one. Dried shrimp or shrimp pellets are preferred as well. Put a hen cuttlebone within the water for her to munch on,because it provides calcium. Present her some water plants like elodea or hornwort.Which you could buy these at most pet store or aquarium retailers. Additionally,is the water warm adequate? Does she have a basking gentle? Warm turtles consume higher than cold ones. Whether it is bloodless where you might be,i know that you just are not able to let her go proper now. Good success
