Other players can be blamed but Dirk is going to take the full brunt. Here is a man evreyone was bragging about the regular season saying he was a championship caliber player, he could lead his team and even he mentioned he learned from his mistakes in the finals last year. But like Steven Smith said, he doesnt have heart, it was over as soon as he said those remarks. He needs to do what Rashaad did, go to championship caliber team so he doesnt feel the need to have the entire leadership placed on his shoulders. I am not trying to knock as he is a good player, but I bet you right now he's in the corner of his house with 13 jelly beans and he's taking away 11, yep Dirk thats all you get is 2,

Did you watch the games? Golden State catered their defense around Dirk, swarming him when he had the ball often double-teaming sometimes playing severe help-side defense against him. It was up to Dirk's teamates who never really showed up in the series besides arguably Jason Terry and Josh Howard. Dampier was garbage, Diop did nothing, etc. Very similar to how teams guard Kobe, they make the other players hit shots, and most of the time they don't.

likely no longer till they get a good interior scorer. they have adequate perimeter gamers. they favor someone who will draw double communities down low to praise something else of the fringe gamers. i'm no longer prepared on Dirk. i'd commerce him for KG. he's suitable for the mavs. good, rebounder, shot blocker. Dirk can't carry a crew. he's shown in that contained in the playoffs. And KG has extra heart. He hasn't received a identify. The mavs can deliver him his first identify.

I guess everybody has an off day. Nowitzki just could not make any shots. I think he went 1 for 13 from the floor.

Steven A. Smith from ESPN stated it perfectly: "Dirk Nowitzki suffers from the Tin Man disease. No heart. Plain and simple".

The Warrior match up very well against the Mavs. So, they were able to throw Dirk off his game.

Because the Warriors played better basketball and Dirk just wanted to prove to everyone that he shouldn't be MVP this year.

I think that sometimes the pressure of winning gets to them. Manu Ginobili has been having some trouble, too. Also, when a player makes a few bad plays, the pressure probably stacks even more against them... they have to work hard, reeeeally hard, to stay calm and collected... I imagine that's hard, especially in the playoffs.

I think they gave mvp to the wrong person, Dirk just couldn't go anything with 2 defenders on him. I think they should of gave the MVP to kobe.
