They all take a pledge when they're sworn into office, but I suppose you're thinking of something like this:
"I HEREBY promise that I will never question my great leaders, nor think for myself, nor seek information beyond the FOX NEWS CHANNEL, and books published by the officially sanctioned Regnery Press."

guys who send em into combat with no training or decent equipment? into the a war that isn't even a declared war? against a country that had no threat to us?

Y'know, people who really hate American would happily take a loyalty pledge, never intending to stick to it. The only folks you catch with a loyalty pledge are those who object to the concept.
