Unfortunately it is very difficult for someone who is a plus sized woman to find nice affordable brand name clothing that looks flattering on their figure in this country-or anywhere for that matter. You have to become a very (very very very very very) patient, crafty shopper. However, here are a few clothing store that you can find some nice stuff at:
Fashion Bug
Ashley Stewart
The Avenue
Lane Bryant

I'm loving Old Navy's womens' sizes. They have some great jeans and dresses.

Also, check out some of the "regular" stores like Express, GAP, etc. They have 16s, they're just always at the back of the rack.

errr.... tk max always have great affordable brand clothes in most sizes, but you do have to rummage through the clothes to find what your looking for.....
