Mindfulness. I don't believe in an afterlife or a predestined purpose, but I can be mindful of how even ordinary things are practically miraculous when looked at from a fresh perspective. The fact that the universe is even here and that is can support life are undeniably amazing and wonderful facts, and I'd feel like a fool to ever despair to the point where I forget about that.

I have a very strong will to live... I think it may come from a promise I made to myself a long time ago.. after my brother died.. not sure.... but it's here none the less... but on the rare occasions that life catches up with me and I start to lose my strength.. all I have to do.. and all I think anyone has to do.. is look into the eyes of a child... when you see that sparkle you can have no doubt that there is hope for tomorrow.

My two small boys. After my wife left me for her coworker I realize thats the main reason why we are here today... to carry on our off spring and raise them to be the best humans we can. I mean before I was into cars and other things but a divorce will make you appreciate what really matters and its NOT material possesions. Its not what we take when we go its what we leave behind when we go.

air, food, rotgut, work, sex and wasting time pecking at keys in front of this rotten, addictive global-village-idiot facilitating monstrosity.
I used to like shooting the paper off straws and hitting people in the eye with them. But somebody messed that all up. On there tighter than a fat lady's girdle now.

What keeps me alive? Well, that's an ironic question from someone named 'drop-dead-gorgeous'.. ;)
My Love of my life keeps me alive, and my brilliant and abundant future that awaits me, my beautiful future wife and my future children, and grand children, and my freedom to be with them whenever I want..
Andrea Bocelli's 'heavenly' songs inspire me. You should try listening to it.

like you, my family and friends. Learning new things, traveling, meeting new people, being humbled by the worlds mysteries, trying to make sense of them, hopefully leaving a wake of good deeds and a family to continue in the tradition.
good luck.
