I agree with Bjorn - this has happened to me and to others that I know and that is the reason - it is because you are touching the touchpad while you are typing.

This is the exact reason that many people (including myself) have bought a "laptop" USB mouse - it makes it easier to type without worrying where you rest your wrist and it also makes it easier to use the mouse.

When you plug in the USB mouse, the touchpad will still work. You will need to figure out how to turn it off. On my Toshiba laptop, there is a "system tray" icon (lower right of the screen) that configures the touch pad and you can tick a box to turn it off.

A real mouse is much better even for 10 minutes of computer use and is very easy to plug in. I just wish laptops came with built in wireless transmitters for a "standard" wireless mouse.

Good Luck!

likely because as you're typing you're by twist of destiny brushing the touchpad with your hand, as a effect transferring the cursor to a diverse element. If its truly truly demanding you i advise you purchase a mouse and disable the touchpad. Or in case your pc has slightly joystick thingy contained in the middle of the keyboard (as some do), disable the touchpad and use that to administration the cursor fairly. or however cut back the sensitivity of your touchpad with the help of going to its settings.

Because while you are typing, you are probably also touching the touchpad. This causes it to move to different places.

Just be mindful of where your palm and wrist are resting on the laptop.
