The powers of the captain and the senior players must be checked.From Greg Chappel's reports,I believe that the truth behind this very united team has come out.All players should have their say at the team meeting.The selection process should be based merely on the Captain's"I like him,so get him in", "I hate him,so kick his *** "kind of dialogues.The voice of the Chairman Of Selectors should be the final word.Oh and the BCCI should also ensure that they don't have a moronic Chairman of Selectors.

BCCI itself plays politics. Unless BCCI represented by ex-cricketer instead of shrewd politicians or businessman.. nothing will happen. Players are bound to involve in politics.
Greg played dirty tricks.. Senior-Junior.. we never heard before.John Wrigh did not have any problem.. How come Greg.. b/coz he wanted to lead the team as Non-Playing Captain not coaching the players so got conflict with some players and then played the trick.He spoiled Irfan 'bowling talent by putting him to bat.
If Pond is dirty.. you would get dirty if swim there..
Performance should be important , not age. does not matter who

There big question mark on BCCI's own interest about the game....? First BCCI clear its intention whether they wants to take this game seriously or not....last world cup debbacle proved how much seriousness BCCI officials shown towards the game of cricket.

Players should be made accountable and payment to all the players irrespective of the stature of the player, should be based on the performance. This is the bestway to improve the performance of the players as once a player comes to know that he will get the payment only ifh he performs well, he will be forced to excell.

Performance Appriasal System should be implemented immediately. Players should be selected from their performance on the field and on merits only. Politicians and others should not be entertained not only in cricket but other games as well.
