It did take Josh awhile to get use to the American League batters, but look how far he has come!! He's amazing now (but I always thought that he was!!)
I felt a little leary of Dice K also, but I guess we just need to wait it out and see!!
In the meantime.........Beckett goes strong!!!!

The guy has only had 6 starts, give him a chance, he is still up near the top of the league in strikeouts, he has thrown 2 10 strikeout games, he could easily be 5-0 if the Sox scored more than 1 combined in his 2 loses. He is still early in his career and getting used to a completely different atmosphere. I am not ready to say he was a bust yet because a number of his starts he has looked great and had a couple of lights out moments, he just needs to become consistent that is all. If you think he cannot pitch you are crazy, he has had a few little stumbles but they are usually only one inning at a time.

No, hes still getting used to the whole basis of American League baseball, this isnt the Japanese league. Also when Daisuke pitches good the red sox give no run support, but when he doesnt, the explode with their offense. Schillibg and Beckett have been here longer.

Dice-K is still getting used to American Baseball. Its way, way to early to say "He sucks and can't pitch." Many times Dice-K will pitch a steller game but the Sox offense just cannot make it happen. Just be glad Eric Clement and David Welles are gone.

He's now 3-2 with an era of 5.45. "El Busto".
The Sox paid 101 million for Chan Ho Park Jr. LOL!
He doesn't even deserve the nickname Dice-K with those numbers.
Don't feel bad. My Yankees are suck with Igawa. The only difference is they didn't bend over a give up 101 million to get him.

Absolutely! I knew that when Boston was courting this guy in the offseason and spending $50 million just to talk to him, that it was going to blow up in his face. The only reason that he got the win is because Manny finally woke-up and earned his salary. Daisuke is definetly overrated and definetly a waste of money!

cause he's on the Red Sox.....they gave him all the hype and thought he was going to be great just because he was good somehwere else. He is just another normal pitcher in the league.

Nope and you are setting yourself up to look like a moron. He keeps having 1 bad inning in each game, when he gets into a groove you will see why they spent the money.

i think its still way too early to tell...he strikes a lot of guys out, just has some trouble staying consistent.....much too early to tell....thats like saying Zambrano is overrated, which is totally false....anyone can have a bad start, its about how you finish, and this is yet to be seen.

No, I do not agree. He is losing his confidence, and he has to regain it and take command. If he does, he will be a winner big time.
Chow!!
