when i answered a question and like 15 mins later my profile shows no record of me ever answering it?

I just starred your question cause I thought it was good, then I remembered the answer...it means the asker deleted the question.

No...you don't get violated if the question you answered is deleted......you only get violated if your question or answer is deleted.

I keep confusing myself.....O.K. if you check your answers on your profile and the question is no longer there then you didn't get the vio..the person who asked it did.....

If you found the question but your answer is gone then your answer was deleted and you got a violation.

I think they may have deleted the profile of the person who asked the question. That happened to me the other day.

I'm so sorry Joshua....even now the system is tracking you down as you read this...you will be re-acquired and re-educated to only press the nice key combinations as answers or questions.

The next time they will take away your computer and give you a hammer & chisel.

check your email for a violation notice also for every violation you lose 10 points i should know ive had about 30

That is not a violation, your q is floating around somewhere in cyberspace, waiting for someone to find it.
Happens with answers, too.

It could. I had that happen to me. You will get an email stating you had a violation though.

The person who asked the question might have just deleted the question.
