been about a week since i've been off my period (4/26-4/28) and i'm still having cramps, headaches, leg heaviness/cramps, breast soreness, gas, stomach pains along the sides of me torso, backaches from neck-tailbone, and still freakin moody...soo i thought it might have been these BC pills i started for the first time last sun after period, but i only took them for 3 days, stopped taking them, wondering if they were prolonging my sypt, but i've been off them for 3 days, so shouldnt they be outa my system by now???
dont know why, had a pap, everything was normal as far as tests but doc said my cervix was very irritated/bled to the touch...
so no explination for that either...uhhh so frustrated

preg highly unlikely cause we use condoms/pull out everytime..

It sounds like the pills. Even though you haven't taken them for a few days, the effects of them are still in your system. Birth Control Pills trick your body into thinking it's pregnant so that you don't ovulate, and that's why you are having all of these symptoms. Give it a little more time, and you will be back to normal. I'd take something like Midol or Ibuprofen to alleviate your pain.

well, with all that info, it sounds like the pills. you could possibly also have an ovary cyst. That can cause period like symptoms. I don't know how long it takes for the pill to get out of your system, but if you only took it for 3 days, I don't how much actually got into your system to begin with. I'd call your doc and have him check you out for a possible cyst. I'm no expert, but it's just something I thought of. And I don't know why your cervix would be irritated either. As long as your paps were normal, it's not abnormal cells (ie. cervical cancer), so you can probably breath easy on that one.
Good luck!

I don't think Ur pregnant ... but U have brought Ur period on N messed Ur cycle up. U can't take 3 pills (especially the first 3 b/c they R the strongest) N quit, U have to finish the pack. I use to do it to myself all the time when I was on BC by just forgetting. N by the way, BC pills take a while to get use to (ur body) N sometimes will make U feel sick! Good Luck!

It kind of sounds like your experiencing withdrawals. It's the same thing that happened to me when I stopped my bc. Just be patient once your hormones go back to normal you will be fine. Right now there just a little out of sorts.
But don't worry your fine, Your body just needs to adjust to all the changes.

i would say it's from starting stopping the pills.....i think you realized that already but i just wanted to restate

next round of pills you should stick with and give your body time to adjust and have a little faith that you will adjust...starting and stopping like that seriously messes with your hormones

if you don't like the particular pill you are on then ask for a different kind and try that.....but GIVE IT TIME HONEY.....how will you know if you don't give it a couple of months

Could be lots of things. Women's bodies are so complicated. That's why we have our own doctor - the gynecologist. There are all kinds of conditions, like endometriosis, interstitial cystitis (sp?) vulvodynia, etc. Talk to your doctor and get a full physical.

Good luck!

well i don't really know what's going on. It's never happened to me or anyone I know. But you could still be pregnant even if you use protection. I'm sorry. I hope you feel better soon!

He thinks of you as a friend to hang out with when no one else is available. I know a girl who treats me the same way.
