My new son-in-law is from Ville Platte, Louisiana and they have an Easter tradition where after boiling, dying, and hiding the eggs, they pick one and starting at either end "tap" the same end of someone else's egg. The first one to crack is out, and the winner continues until he loses. Last one with an egg uncracked is the winner. Some families just have bragging rights, while some families give prizes. I had never heard of this, and would like to see if anyone else does this. Thanx! Another tradition is to then make potato salad with eggs....which I might add is very colorful!

I've never done this, but I have heard of this game. I've also heard of people blowing out 1 egg, and filling it with confetti and concealing the hole. When the "victim" gets hit over the head, they are expecting to get a hard boiled egg, instead they get covered with confetti.
