Is there a chart someone can point me to? I'm concerned that I'm gaining too quickly.

Guidelines for this usually say anywhere between 1-3 lbs per month, but honestly, it varies based on factors like your starting weight, risk of complications, and age. If you have concerns regarding your pregnancy, call your ob/gyn. They can give you information specific to YOUR pregnancy.

Now you shouldnt gain 15lbs a trimester, but just bare in mind that the normal and healthy recommended weight gain for pregnancy is 25-35 lbs. for the entire pregnancy! But thats only if you were at a healthy weight when you got pregnant. If you were underwieght they recommend 30-40lbs for the entire pregnancy. If youre overwieght they say 20-25lbs ... Other factors also include if youre carrying multiples or not, gestational diabetes, high blood pressure... etc.

Trust what your doctor says about your weight and dont think too much about it. As long as youre eating healthy and taking your vitamins... your wieght gain will be fine over all! Just dont over do it on those sweet indulgences... chocolate is a killer LOL :)

I lost a considerable amount of wieght during the first trimester, and the beginning of the second... but I gained it all back. Now Im at a healthy weight and doing fine.

The link below will help. I also read yesterday in my doctors office that 2-4 pounds in the first trimester then 1 to 1 1/2 pounds a week thereafter. My doctor told me 25-35 pounds.

there is not set amount you should gain, its individual. I lost 15 lbs my first trimester but since then gained it all back in the last. The best thing you can do is stay away form junk food and try and eat healthy and drink plenty of water :)

It depends on what your weight was before you got pregnant. I am in my second trimester, and I have found the American Pregnancy Association website to be very useful.
