It means that somewhere on the page there is an error in a script, usually javascript; where the programmer who made the page made a mistake, or programmed for something your browser doesn't use.
In MOST cases, the page will still work, since what one browser finds as an error may be needed to let the page work on a different browser.
If it bothers you, go to your browsers properties list, and uncheck or disable the "error logging" for pages. It is in different places and/or called by different names depending on the browser you are using, but will usually be in the "advanced" settings somewhere.

Assuming you saw this on a webpage, it is usually associated with a JavaScript error on the page. The coder of the page is at fault, and under most circumstances you have nothing to worry about.

There is a problem with the script you are running on that page. Contact the webmaster and they can fix it.
