only to find out it was not greener or worth the heart ache to your family and wish that you would have given your marriage the effort that it needed.....ie- watered grass a little more?

My ex-h did. He went on an extended bussiness trip and found the local pasture to appear greener especially after a few beers. In such pastures he got to play around with a pair of cows, that in no time turned out to be having calfs. He then discover the grass wasn't greener at all and that the cows were not pure bred, and that, in fact, they were ugly, fat, cows.

He realized his righful pasture at home was wonderful and didn't want to lose it, but wifey say..... go eat the manure on your greener pastures.

Good luck

I'm kinda skeptical by nature and even though I've had little crushes on other women, I just didn't do anything about it.... just let it sit for a while, and soon enough each time the person that seemed to have some of the things my wife didn't, was no longer appealing to me as I came to see their other side. Maybe there is someone out there that would be everything I've ever wanted, but then I really don't think I'd want to get to know that person because everybody has a dark side and sometimes the people who are the nicest on the surface are the ones that would drive you insane once you know them.
My wife ain't perfect... ok, she's far from perfect, and so am I, but she has plenty of redeeming qualities and I can trust her so why in the heck would I "trade the bird in my hand for the one sitting on a branch" as the saying goes.
Also I have a septic system under my backyard and that's where the greener grass is. And the grass that tends to be greener usually needs more mowing. So to those searching for greener pastures remember: there's usually a septic system just below the surface in those greener pastures.

First of all, statistics is against you. The odd of a second marriage to end up in divorce is 70%. Some people divorce for right reasons-- physical or substance abuse. But those who are unhappy with what they have and think they deserve or will find someone better usually advertise themselves untruthfully or they fall for "false advertisements" of the other side, so they get even more disappointed.

Is there someone better out there? Absolutely, but can you find one within the radius of your circle? Nobody knows. But seems that people repeat the same mistake again and again.

My greener pasture turned out to be the Sahara Desert! Get the lead out and fix it! Time is the enemy. Remember "doing" and "saying" are to different things. You will always long for that pasture while spitting sand.

The question here is: Do you know who the heck you are before God, you need a personal relationship with Christ to live a live that has the quality and depth your looking for. This starts with you and only you. Do you enjoy what the world says is enjoyment, does it satisfy? Looks like you want more, so pray and ask for guidance, worship at your church and watch your life change, cause it will.
