I got my belly button pierced when I was 16 (I'm 25 now). It healed just fine. I still have it now. Of course its going to leave a tiny scar. You cant avoid that, but its very small. As long as you take care of it properly, you will be fine. When I got pregnant, 5 years ago, I kept my belly ring in until I was 7 months pregnant. My belly button never popped out when I was pregnant. It just got uncomfortable, so I took it out when I was pregnant. After I had my son, I put it back in. I loved it back then and still do now!

I have a belly piercing and it goes like this.....
Mine didnt hurt at all and as long as you clean it reg and take the advice given you shouldnt have any problems with it at all.
My husband thinks it is great
I am now pregnant with my second child and I can still wear my bar up until about 3 weeks before the baby is due then I just fit it back in after.
It is really down to personal choice but I have never regretted getting it done.
If you did decide that you didnt like it you can take it out and you might get a a small scar the size of the hole which is small!!!

well if your thinking long term i would not get it , short term ya it is fun sexy cute whatever , but as u get olderhave kids it can stretch and yes it leaves a scar ( for me it did) when i took it out , i took mine out when i was preg with my 3rd baby,i have a hole their still and it is all stretch from the pregnacy and i have a stretch mark right above the navel from my belly button poking out while preg and pushing the ring up in my skin ..as far as infections go as long as you take care of the area do as your told it should not get infected... but even after knowing all this i would still get mine done if i went back in time , just would take it out the first time i got pregnant not the 3rd lol

If you have a very well toned stomach it would look very sexy. It would depend on the individual as to the possibility of infections, if you're concerned - don't risk it!
....so you are thin and toned? Go for it! ...and make sure you get an expensive one.

Well I have one and I thoroughly enjoy it :D Infections and scarring depends on you. You have to care for it and clean to make sure it doesn't get infected. As for pregnancies you can always take out the piercing, or some women just keep it in and use a longer bar ( as for this harming the baby IDK). I like being able to change the jewelry to fit my mood.

I had no problem with mine and mine was done when i was 14 and I had no infections at all and when i got prego at 21 ( I am now 25) i just left it in and it stretched right along with my belly and went back to normal at the end. so I suggest its CUTE TOO! I love it. go for it, you can hide it or show it, either way I love it.

This is what I think-- My best friend got her belly button pierced and it got terribley infected--even though she kept it clean EVERYDAY! She then became pregnat and lost the baby..They said a certain place that they pierce you YOU couldnt have kids..So Be careful...I would go with no but it is your body; your choice..Have a good day and make good decisions! :)

self-mutilation is never sexy. work on what God gave ya, make that shine and sparkle.
real beauty can't be bought, for any price.
men who are worthy of your attention will recognize that fact, and see it in you.
men who are attracted by sparkly add-ons and artificial, painted-on color are shallow dogs who aren't worth the air they consume.
