Last night I had sushi and sashimi for supper. I personally love it, the sauces are different from traditional American cuisine, and the textures really complement each other. It is an acquired taste however. It may take a few tries before you find you enjoy it.

Yes. I love sushi. If you're talking about zushi (the one with raw fish) I've tried it but it didn't seem to have much taste to me. I do love the rice rolls (sushi) though. I had one a few weeks ago called "sunny side up" with egg and mango sauce that was probably the best I've ever had.

Yes..I lived in Japan for 5 years and before that lived in Los Angeles. Sushi is a weekly restaurant destination for about 20 years now.

I usually stay away from the raw stuff. But there are many "cooked" varieties for the sushi. My favourites includes a roll with soft-shell crab, or spicy tuna, or grilled eel, with a good dollop of wasabi.... YUMMY.

Love it! Especially the California rolls. I wish my husband liked sushi so we could go out more often.

No I haven't tried sushi. I don't have any sushi shops near me that's why.
