Half a tea cup of fresh water,
a tea cup is 250ml and there are 1000ml in a litre and a litre is exactly 1kg of fresh water.
Try it, half fill a tea cup with fresh water then pour it into a plastic bag seal it and drop it onto a food scale

there are 29.35g/oz so 125g=125/29.35=4 1/4 oz. at's about a 1/2 cup of water in a paper or styrofoam cup.

Just though I would correct SS4. It isn't 1225N, because:
1. You meant 1250N, not 1225N, do your maths right
2. It is 125g, it is a mass, and 1250N is a force. You mean on earth it would pull down with the force of 1250N
3. Its not 1250N anyway, because its kg*10, not, g, so it would be 1.25N
4. It is not kg*10, it is kg*9.81, so it is 1.23N

SO work it out 50 g is 2oz, 25g is 1oz ==== so 125 g is 5oz
