Carly
Letta
Star (maybe)

Or what is her middle name going to be? You can use her middle name for a nickname.

My sons name is Kaden Wesley and we call him Kaden or Wes.

Good luck and Congrats

Scarlett doesn't have a nickname. I've never heard of anyone named Scarlett needing a nickname. It's not very long and really doesn't need to be shortened. I'm sure people will have no problem saying her name.

It's really pretty, by the way :)

Don't worry about nicknames. Scarlett is a beautiful name on its own! If she wants a nickname, though, then I would suggest these:

-Call her by her middle name

-You could call her Star which sounds like the Scar in the first part of her name.

-Or you could make up a cute nickname for her.

Good luck and congrats on your new baby girl!

If you want one derived from Scarlett, I'd say Letta or Carly. But if you want something personal and fitting, pick it when you see her. People on yahoo can come up with whatever, but her cute little face will be the most telling for you.

My baby girl gets all kinds of silly names from me, but what I call her the most is "bug." It's silly, but it's a mommy thing, and noone else uses it.

If you are worried about what others will shorten it to, I doubt they even will. It's not that kind of name.

I'd just call her Scarlett and not use a nickname. By the way, I love the name too.

I love the name Scarlett! She doesn't need a nickname. I wouldn't worry about people calling her Scar. It's such a beautiful name, I'd go for it!

I love that name, my aunts name was Scarlette. She was great. Anyway I don't think she ever had a nickname (not a version of her name anyway).

It is too beautiful of a name to shorten in the first place. I always insist people call me by my full name, so can she.

Scarlett is pretty--leave it at that and don't call her anything for short. I was always envious of the people in school who didn't have to correct the teacher the first day (like I did: "it's Becky, not Rebecca.") And make sure it's her first name, not her middle one.
